The "Joyful Tides" series explores the dynamic energy and emotional resonance of water through abstract composition. Layers of oil and cold wax combine with spontaneous gestural marks to create visual movement that mirrors the push and pull of ocean currents. Rather than literal seascapes, these works translate the feelings evoked by water.
This painting has been juried into the Federation of Canadian Artists Abstracted Show to be held in their gallery on Granville Island from November 18th to 30th.
